What is the difference between a group coordinator and a site coordinator?

Site coordinators can use all of the TS Coordinator tools with everyone in their administrative domain. The administrative domain is the category or local area within the learning community where the coordinator’s permissions have been assigned. This can be at the top level of the organization, or within one area of the organization. Site coordinators may also be assigned Account Management Permissions, giving them access to additional registration reports.

Group coordinators can use all of the TS Coordinator tools with programs they create or have been assigned to manage.
 

General Information about the Coordinator Roles

The TS Coordinator tools provide administrative capabilities within organizations using Taskstream.  

A TS Coordinator can be granted either Group or Site level access.  Both levels of access have use of the TS Coordinator tools to perform a variety of administrative functions.

Group Coordinator

A Group Coordinator has administrative capabilities for Programs they manage within Taskstream.  A Group Coordinator can create and manage a Program in Taskstream and enroll anyone from his or her organization into that Program.  Group Coordinators can also be assigned to manage Programs created by other Coordinators.  As the Manager of a Program, the Group Coordinator can use any of the TS Coordinator tools to:
 

  • Disseminate information to Program participants
  • Run reports
  • Post communications
  • Manage the process

Site Coordinator

A Site Coordinator has all of the abilities of Group Coordinators, plus administrative access to an assigned subset of individuals within their organization.  

NOTE: The assigned subset can include all individuals within their organization.
