How can I see a detailed view of student edTPA submissions?

To access a detailed view of student edTPA submissions, click Analytics on the top menu bar, and then the Institution Dashboard tab on the top right side of the page. In the Select dashboard pull down menu on the right, choose edTPA and click Update View.

A breadcrumb trail at the top of the page enables you to navigate back to edTPA Dashboard.

The page header displays the submission status bucket you are currently viewing, along with the name of the edTPA program. A dropdown menu enables you to select to drill into different submission status buckets or select to see the submission status of all enrolled authors. The number that appears at the end of each filter dropdown option is the number of authors who fall into that bucket.

The contents of the drill in report vary, based on the submission status bucket you are in:

 The "Transfer Request to Pearson Cancelled" is not considered as Failed, Pending or Success because action has been taken to cancel the transfer. In this case, it is considered not submitted to Pearson.

Work Started (%) Column

The Work Started column will indicate the percentage of work started. This column only shows up for the Show All and the Work in Progress statuses. For work in progress, this percentage will be calculated by taking the number of requirements that have been started by the student and dividing it by total number of requirements and multiplying the quotient by 100.

Pearson Statuses

There are a total of eleven possible Pearson statuses that appear on the screen. To provide a glimpse of whether action needs to be taken based on different statuses, sorting is made available by clicking the Pearson Status column header and the eleven statuses are grouped into the following categories represented by different icons:

  • Transfer Request to Pearson Failed
  • Transfer Request Failed at Pearson
Pending
  • User Agreement Accepted
  • Portfolio Being Processed by Taskstream
  • Transfer Request Initiated To Pearson
  • Portfolio Sent to Pearson
  • Request Queued
  • Transfer Request to Pearson Pending Pearson Review
  • Transfer Request to Pearson Pending
Success
  • Portfolio Transferred to Pearson Successfully
N/A
  • Transfer Request to Pearson Cancelled

 The "Transfer Request to Pearson Cancelled" is not considered as Failed, Pending or Success because action has been taken to cancel the transfer. In this case, it is considered not submitted to Pearson yet.
